Pets are not allowed at TheaterHotel De Oranjerie, with the exception of assistance and guide dogs. This policy applies to all rooms and our restaurants.

We kindly ask you to inform us in advance at the time of your reservation if you will be bringing an assistance dog.

Even when you are not staying with us, we would be delighted to welcome you for an extensive and well-cared-for breakfast.

Breakfast is possible from Monday to Sunday, subject to availability. We kindly advise you to make a reservation in advance by phone through our reception.

Rates:

• €22.50 per adult

• €12.50 for children from 4 to 12 years old

We are happy to provide a flavorful and relaxing start to your day.

As a hotel guest, you can park in the public parking garage Q-Park De Oranjerie, which is located directly behind our hotel. Note: this parking garage is not owned by TheaterHotel De Oranjerie.

How does it work?

Upon arrival, drive into the garage and take a parking ticket. Before your departure, pick up a discount card (exit card) at the reception of our hotel. With both cards, you can then leave the garage.

• Rate: €8.50 per car per night.

• Important: Would you like to take advantage of our special hotel rate? Then before entering the garage, turn off the automatic license plate recognition in the Q-Park app.

• Navigation address: Achter de Oranjerie 1, Roermond.

• Maximum entry height: 1.90 meters.

Tip: We recommend that you do not leave valuables in your car.

Parking with a taller vehicle or (work) van

Is your vehicle taller than 1.90 meters? Then you can park in the hotel's own parking lot.

• The rate is also €8.50 per vehicle per night.

• These spaces are limited and cannot be reserved in advance.

Electric Charging

Charging on the hotel premises

The hotel's own parking lot has 4 charging points where you can charge your electric car during your stay.

• These charging points cannot be reserved in advance.

• Ask our reception staff if a charging point is available when checking in.

Charging in the Q-Park garage

In the Q-Park De Oranjerie parking garage you will find 8 charging points where you can easily charge your electric car during your stay. The charging stations are located on the left side of the garage. After you enter the garage, follow the route towards the exit to reach the charging points.

Tesla Supercharger

For fast charging of your Tesla with a Supercharger, we kindly refer you to the parking lot of the Designer Outlet Center Roermond (navigation address: Stadsweide). Here you can also charge your car during your stay in the region.

Note: For all charging locations (both at the hotel, in the Q-Park garage, and at the Designer Outlet Center), charging is subject to availability. It is not possible to reserve a charging point in advance.

Our exclusive Penthouse Suites feature a spacious private balcony where you can enjoy the views and surroundings in tranquility.

A number of rooms in the main building are equipped with a French balcony (not accessible to stand on & smoking is not allowed here). The rooms in the PTT-building do not have a balcony.

The hotel features a swimming pool and a modern fitness area where you can relax or start your day actively.

Although we do not have a general wellness area, we offer two special suites with a private sauna for an extra luxurious experience:

• The Penthouse Sauna Suite

• The PTT Sauna Suite

Here you enjoy ultimate privacy and relaxation in your own room.

Would you like to surprise someone with a special experience? We offer three different gift cards:

• Van der Valk Gift Card - To be spent at all Van der Valk Loyal hotels (Van der Valk Exclusive is excluded).

• Podium Gift Card - To be used for theatrical performances.

• Theaterhotel De Oranjerie Gift Voucher - To be used in the hotel and in the restaurant.

The gift cards are available at our reception. Our staff will be happy to assist you in choosing an appropriate gift.

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited throughout the entire hotel, including all guest rooms and French balconies. A zero-tolerance policy applies.

If we determine that smoking has taken place in a room, a minimum charge of €250.00 will be applied. If the fire alarm is triggered as a result, you are required to leave the hotel immediately. In such cases, any payment made for the room will not be refunded.

Please note that disabling or covering the smoke detector may also trigger the fire alarm. Any damage to the detector, as well as costs incurred by the alarm response services, will be charged to you.

Smoking is permitted on the terrace and in the courtyard. Ashtrays are also available at the main entrance and hotel entrance.

For a carefree stay, we offer you excellent facilities:

• Bicycle parking: You can park your bicycle in our covered, locked and camera-monitored bicycle parking.

• Charging points: Do you have an electric bike? Then you can easily and free of charge charge it at the available charging points in the parking area.

Important safety information

• Bicycle batteries: For safety reasons, it is not allowed to take your bicycle battery to your hotel room or charge it there. You can leave your battery in the locked parking area.

• Own risk: Parking your (electric) bicycle is entirely at your own risk. Van der Valk Theaterhotel de Oranjerie is not liable for any damage, theft, or vandalism to your bicycle(s). To optimize safety, we do use camera surveillance.
